Oliver AI Dataset Complete
We're absolutely thrilled to announce that Oliver AI's development is officially complete! This marks a huge milestone for us, as Oliver is now ready to join our family of fully completed voices, cementing him as our debut vocal when we launch Maghni AI later in the year. Additionally, this marks Oliver as our sixth completed voice library.
Languages: Where We're At So Far
Speaking of which, here's a quick overview of the languages currently embedded and ready for Maghni AI, thanks to our talented team of developers working around the clock to make Maghni something truly special:
- English
- Japanese
- Polish
- Spanish
- Mandarin
- French
These languages are now fully represented in Maghni AI, with each voice library tailored to the respective pronunciations and quirks of their voicers. While we can't share exactly which languages are next in line, we're excited to say there are many more in development. Some highly requested, and some never-before-seen on any vocal synthesis engine prior. This brings us one step closer to fulfilling our goal of creating a vocal for any language, no matter where in the world you are. We couldn't be more excited!
Note: Until cross-lingual implementation is complete, all voice libraries will be restricted to the languages recorded by their voicers. Look forward to updates as we further develop Maghni AI
What's Next for Maghni AI?
As we celebrate the completion of Oliver's dataset, the next big step for us is preparing for our third major base model retrain. This retrain will give us the chance to fine-tune the model even further, delivering better results than we've shown in previous demonstrations.
In addition, the team has been diligent in preparing our next voice demo to showcase Maghni's current capabilities, this time in a different language! Keep an eye out for something fun in the near future–the team can't wait to share it with you!
While on the topic of Maghni AI, I'd like to offer some clarity on our current release window. Currently, the project is under new management and diligently hammering out major milestones as fast as we can, but the scope of the project previously set by past management has made some goals exceedingly difficult to reach. There's still much to decide on, but my plans as the recently-elected Co-Director are to reduce our scope just a bit, to ensure we can launch in 2025. As we proceed through the year, expect a proper list of what users can expect from Maghni AI at launch to be shared via our official socials, blog, and via inquiries through our contact page. It's been a very difficult transition period for both myself and the team, but we're confident we can create something truly spectacular, it will just take us a bit more time.
To reiterate, Maghni AI's development is proceeding as intended, but it will take the team more time before we feel comfortable giving any firm dates for our commercial release. 2025 is our goal, and we're doing everything in our power to release Maghni AI to all of our supporters. Thank you for your patience and understanding.
Backer Rewards Update: We're Almost There
We want to take a moment to address a topic that's of utmost importance to us: the backer rewards. First and foremost, thank you all for your incredible patience and support. We know how much you've been looking forward to receiving your rewards, and we truly appreciate your understanding.
Unfortunately, the aftermath of Hurricane Helene is still having a heavy impact on both the community and the region where we're creating, printing, and fulfilling the physical voice library boxes. This has caused some unavoidable delays in getting these boxes out the door and into the hands of our backers. While every other reward has been prepped and is ready to ship, we're holding off on shipping any rewards until the physical voice libraries are ready as well. We know these are among the most anticipated items backers purchased, and we want to make sure we send out everything in its complete form, just as you've been expecting.
We're actively working with the local team handling these orders to get those boxes out to you ASAP, and we'll keep you updated every step of the way. We're as frustrated as you are, but rest assured, we're doing everything we can to make sure you get the rewards you've been waiting for in the best condition possible.
